It amazing how revolutionary music has been. It seems that at times if songs were just spoken and not sung, they wouldn't have the same effect on people.

Music and lyrics have really pushed the envelope with what the artists are allowed to sing about. Which for today's standards is practically anything as long as they slap a "parental advisory" sticker on the cover. The messages in music have definitely changed and the musician icon has gone through dramatic changes. All and all, music has shown to be very influential and ever-changing.
